The Division Beta opinion

So, beta for new Ubisoft game called The Division has ended so it is time to share my honest thoughts of a game which is releasing 8 March of 2016. You can check here my gameplay video from The Division beta.
At first, I will start talking about bugs. There is currently plenty of them, hopefully they will be all patched for final release. I've experienced game freezing, sound effects were off for some time (you can experience that in my video) and one time I've got stuck in elevator wall somehow and wasn't able to move, I needed to fast travel to base in order to get unstuck. There was also some people talking about hackers. Well, I haven't found them but so apparently - Ubisoft servers during beta trusted game client with all informations about character so you could easily change your XP level, and even equipment. I think that was because it was just beta, so Ubisoft don't need to deal with anti-hacker protection - and that think with servers - It is more easy to not save players progress during beta on server, since all data will be deleted after end of beta.

Now, lets talk about graphics - they have been definitely downgraded as you can tell when you compare beta to E3 gameplay videos from 2013. You can check out this eurogamer video which compares E3 2013 gameplay video with 2016 Xbox One Beta.
The wolrd in The Division is cool - it is very realistic, I like when there is snow and christmas time in games like in Mafia II or Batman: Arkham Origins. Problem with the world is that you are just running from point A to point B and there isn't anything interesting in between. And yea, the world is pretty empty and as mentioned in video above - streets in 2013 E3 gameplay look more interesting, there was a lot more thinks on street, cars and simply stuff. But in beta streats were really empty - some crashed cars, some garbage but nothing that cool as in E3 2013 gameplay.

Now, we will take a lok at interface. Well, interface has been inproved since 2013 at some points, but the inventory has been hugely changed. I think that inventory in 2013 looked much better and cooler than what we got here, and mainly the map was pretty epic in 2013. Now it is also cool but not that much cool.

Inventory management can be for first time terrible, but you can get used to it. Especially guns upgrading is hidden in a lot of these crazy menus.

Now, about gameplay. Well, it is typical cover-based shooter which is a huge shame since it would be much funnier and better to have stealth here. Most stealth thing you can have here is silenced gun.

My overall experience was good. The Division won't be any huge epic game but it also won't be a bad game, it will end somewhere in 7/10 scores by reviewers and it will be played for a good time.
