It was Thursday when Battlefron Beta was released for anybody on Origin. Sadly, on Thursday my computer has broken. Finally, today, I was able to play Battlefront and after a bunch of hours of playing I can share my thoughts about it.

GRAPHICS
First thing you'll notice when you turn on any battle is amazing graphics. Battlefront have amazing visual it have a very good performance, with my Intel i7 CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 I can run game at very hight graphical setting on 60 FPS.

Explosions, gunshots, random sparks from fire and explosions are absolutely amazing. Whole maps look large and amazing, they are big enough for soldiers on ground and also big enough for pilots in fighters above.

Level backgrounds looks also amazing, they are detailed thanks to the map extension for fighters. DICE acomplished they promises of amazing graphics with flying colors.
GAMEPLAY
Second thing you'll notice is gameplay. Well, if you are a soldier on the ground, you have pretty much normal FPS gameplay with some additional things. Weapons don't have ammo, only limitation during firing is overheating which can cause unabillity to shoot for a few seconds. You also have Star Wars cards which is basically perks which you can use like grenades, jetpack, sniper rifle, shield and so on. On battlefield you can also pick a Power-Ups which can give you special abilites, weapons, heros or fighters but I will talk about them later.

But when you get into one of the many fighters, it is completely new game. Controls of fighters, sounds of firing and engines, everything feels so real, so Star Wars, so right. My favorite part of it was flying in fighters. Combat in fighters is in fact pretty easy. You have two perks, what are they depends on in which fighter are you and on which side are you. All fighters have extra speed or extra armor and a few types of air-to-air guided rockets.

All fighters have also cockpit view which is kinda disorienting in difficult maneuvering, dog-fight or low flight. But I'm glad that these cockpits are they because they look amazing.

And yep, there is multiple fighters, a few on every side, every fighter have unique sounds of guns, cockpit and controls. Especially Rebels have some pretty slow and odd fighters out there but they're X-Wing is best among all fighters in game. And also Tie Fighter is pretty good in combat.

Let's talk about power ups for a while. They are interesting but they are probably the biggest problem in a game. You have two power ups classes, and from them you can get powerfull weapons like rocket launchers, orbital strikes, fighters and also heroes. First problem with them that there is too few of them on battlefield and because they are random you will get uselles grenades or mines, when you need rocket launcher to destroy AT-AT. Also if you want to get into fighter you need to scout the battlefield to find one of them.

But best thing about power ups is heroes. You will be Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader, it depends on which side you are, you will get a lightsaber, time limit and you can kill many player with bad ass Star Wars theme playing for each character. Both of them have three skills which are kinda useless because best thing is bouncing enemy fire back at them with light saber as you are closing to them and then kill them all with a few powerfull swings.

Both of them have also unique gameplay and skills. Luke is very fast runs, Darth Vader is slower but he can perform an epic long jump.

SOUNDS
Sounds in this game are amazing. If you have a quality headphones you will get absoulety amazing Star Wars experience because all sounds feels right, as in movies and are simply great.
GAME MODES
Currently in beta there are three game modes, each of them takes place on different map.

There are multiplayer matches and missions. These missions are basically PVE gameplay where you are in a location and enemies are being send to you in waves. You can play alone or with a friend. But interesting it is in multiplayer matches, in Beta there are currently two modes, all other modes will be available after release.

Drop Zone is match of a bunch of players on two sides, trying to capture points, there is no fighters or AT-ATs, only infantry. Best in beta and also most unbalanced is Walker Assault where Imperials are trying to get two AT-ATs from one point to another and Rebels have to destroy both of them. I played many of battles in this mode and to destroy two Walkers you need a lot of orbital strikes and rocket launchers, it is unbalanced and Rebels mostly loose.

This mode involvers Walkers, Fighter and amazingly tough infantry action but as I said, it is unbalanced because two Walkers are really over powered and have many HPs.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
I can't deny how much fun I have during playing this game and I will keep playing till the end of beta. EA and Dice, you can yount on me that I will be buying this game on release. This beta was so great that you persuaded me. Unlike Black Ops 3 beta, this really presented power of graphics, gameplay and even beta bring us great Star Wars experince, so good that I can forget about missing story in Battlefront. This is going to be great game. May the Force be with you!
