Black Ops III is one of most anticipated shooter games of this year. Yesterday was released multiplayer beta on PC, for consoles beta hass been working for a while, but there has been some problems with beta codes on Xbox One. And finally today I got hand to beta myself.

First you will see when you go to beta match is graphics of game. They are not bad but optimalization sucks. Treyarch already said that final optimalization and advanced graphics are not included in PC Beta, but we can expect these to be in full game. Optimalization in beta is something I can get over with, overall it is beta, not full game. There are also some bugs, in my case game crashed twice, for first time I joined battle there were no sounds and FPS drops caused by optimalization.

Now to gameplay. Gameplay is standard Call of Duty gameplay with a few new things like this super attack clearly inspired by Super in Destiny, on consoles it is even the same buttons. These super attack are charging as you play, killing players and also doing damage to them. There are multiple characters called specialist and everyone of them have unique super attack. But this super attack is charginf very slow so you will used them in match for one or two times.

There are also jetpacks and wall run which has been nerfed from Advanced Warfare, jetpack is now working as an triple jump mechanic and wallrun is more or less usefull on maps that are in beta.

Killstreaks are still in game, I'm not a huge fan of them because I feel that they just made good players even better and guys who sucks like me are being killed by multiple helicopters, orbital strikes, drones and stuff like that. But they optimized that so that is now harder to achieve killstreaks and during my play I didn't used any of them. That finally ended that infinite UAV spam that was famous in Call of Duty series.

My overall experience of beta was kinda slightly above average. It was heavy influenced by optimalization and graphics and two crashes but gameplay is solid with some new fun elements. My biggest concern about game is still the singleplayer campaign, where I have strong feeling it will copy Deus Ex series in very shitty way. I'm not even sure if I will buy Black Ops 3 on release date, maybe I will wait till Christmas because I'm not convinced this is move forward in franchise, for me it just feel like yet another futuristic Call of Duty. Black Ops III is releasing November 6.
