I’ve always wanted to create a series of articles about stuff that is currently in my mind. And finally I was able to wrote a few lines to start long series. I will be talking about pretty much everything, much more than this website was supposed to be, to finally add some actual interesting content on this website which is running a year and few months. What will be in this first article? I found an old backup of my files from my old laptop, which was for a long time my only computer device and I had everything there. Sadly, that laptop is now gone, he has broken in April, a week before my second trip to London. And for me, it was really sad because that good old notebook was with me everywhere, from Europe to Asia, he was with me since Maldives, and his last journey was to London. He almost made it to London for third time but hard drive started crashing and it all ended with final backup and then dismantling that notebook. I still have a lot of parts of it, just as an memento of that notebook. And today I found an USB hard drive where is backup of my old files from my old notebook. What I found was really cool. There are three years old photos of one of many spottings at Prague airport. What is cool is that back then we managed to see Royal Air Force Lockheed Tri-star, which for some reason headed to Prague. Next files are library full of songs which I was listening back then. I’m now listening to them as Im writing this article so I’m in kinda nostalgic mood. Currently I’m listening to soundtrack from movie The Terminal, which is one of my favorite movies and always when I’m traveling via airports, I remembered Viktor Navorski, played by Tom Hanks, stuck at New York airport. But anyway, back to files in that backup. There are photos from my Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris trip, which was three years ago. Especially cool photos are from Brussels where was, and I hope still is, Museé Hergé, which was museum about creator of my favorite childhood comics character Tintin. These photos are in terrible quality because I had an old Olympus camera, it was smaller than mobile phone and it make terrible photos, but for 13 years old me it was all I needed. There are also photos of my flight in L-200D Morava, it is old plane made here in Czech Republic, manufactured by Let Kunovice in Kunovice on the other side of Czech Republic. But what’s really cool about that backup is that there are old videos from Flight Simualtor X and 2004 that I created because I was really interested back then in making one of these short clips with music from simulator. But I was 13 years old so I made 12 minutes long video with three songs repeating in loop, showing airport in Dubai, with terrible resolution and crazy lags because my simulator was running on my old notebook, I didn’t have PC back then. And today when I know how to do short videos from FSX and have hardware for it I don’t have time or motivation because since Seychelles, I almost ended flying on FSX or FS2004, I was flying on FS2004 because it was running better with my old machine but when I got PC I started finally playing video games and I didn’t have time for start flying again. But before I ended my FS2004 carrier I was flying all day every day, with some cool hardware which I have still today. I was even flying on-line on IVAO, if you are not familiar with FS comunity, IVAO is huge online comunity hosting servers for flying online, with real life rules, and what was cool was that virtual traffic was navigated by real people, so there was huge amount of people speaking on Teamspeak, and trying to do flying as in real life. And back then I was creating even addons for FS2004, I was creating AI packs, for most of Czech airports, It was very poorly optimized, especially Prague was creating a lot of lags. All of my addons were after completion uploaded to Uložto.cz, Czech server for uplading stuff for users who want it to download and AVSIM.rus which is Russian website well known for many of freeware addons for FS2004/FSX. And all of my addons were also available to download on my previous website, which was succesfull predescesor of MartyReviews.com. It was called whitekingfisher.cz and it was website about flying, completely in Czech and many of addons were there for you to download, and they even had a fake download counter where was incredibly high numbers. What should I say? I was 13 years old. This website isn’t working anymore. I took it down two year ago, a few months before I ended up on Wix.com where is MartyReviews.com hostet. But what is also interesting is that these addons which was uploaded to Uložto.cz are still there available for download. I will try to download all these files and try them in my simulator and check how poorly I written that AI. I would like to download them now but I’m away from home, without an internet connection, also, I’m writting this article offline, to Word on my notebook and when I return tomorrow home I will put it on website where you are now reading this article. I shoudl somehow end this article because it already have one and half page, so, I dont know how regularly will this articles about stuff that is in my mind currently releasing, probably like one per week but I can’t really tell now. I’m also planning to write some articles about Destiny community on PlayStation 4 and also at Wednesday is big reveal of Mafia III which is like Christmas here in Czech Republic because it is already one of my top most anticipatied games of next year. Maybe I will do finally vlog or I will just wait to my trip to Amsterdam later this month. But anyway, see ya at Wednesday at Mafia III reveal. Bye!
