Big news today, Firaxis and 2K revealed sequel to critically acclaimed XCOM Enemy Unknown called simply XCOM 2. What will bring sequel to us? See for yourself in this freaking amazing reveal trailer.
The year is 2035, mankind has been unified on planet Earth and aliens and they're technology is part of normal live. XCOM is now lined as terroristic organisation who is fighting against order. We, as new commander will take place as head of XCOM and we will try to restore normal life on Earth. The trailer was really amazing, it shown to us new weapons - catana included. New aliens and really cool drone. Also there was a glimpse of something called stealth. It would be amazing if this game would have stealth mechanic, because now, we are fighint against humans, not just aliens.
Also, XCOM is now based in freaking VTOL type space-ship which looks really sweet as you can see in trailer. Also reveal of this base is made by amazing scene.
I'm really looking forward to this game. I've had so much fun playing XCOM: Enemy Unknown/Within and I'm gratefull that Firaxis and 2K Games are continuing with this amazing franchise of great tactical strategy games. Release of XCOM 2 is set on November 2015. So, see ya in November!
