Wolfenstein: The Old Blood Review

Today was released one of my most anticipated game of 2015. Today was released Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.

I have no words. Wolfenstein The Old Blood is as good as previous The New Order which was for me best shooter of 2014. Sadly - it is just an stand-alone DLC - that means it is short (but also cheap) game. Event that it is stand-alone DLC - it looks like full price game. Great soundtrack, voice acting is okay, sound effects are the same as in The New Order. There are a bunch of new weapons, and these old weapons from The New Order was upgraded. Gameplay is same as The New Order and story is in Nazi Germany in 1946, before attacking Deatshead in bombers in The New Order.

There are total of 8 chapters and game length should be arround 6 hours. Except for some new cool weapons, you wont find here any new game mechanics, there is still stealth option and shoot them all option. There are also collectibles like concept arts which looks freaking awesome and characters profiles - but these collectibles seems like you are finding them automatically as you progress through story. Only real collectible which you need to find are letters.

Graphics are same, maybe they have more detailes in some textures. They are slighty more detailed and ale look amazing. When you first arriving at Castle Wolfenstein it looks great - with a great soundtrack - you just feel like in some great spy movie or something like that.

Also, I found some interesting easter eggs from another Bethesda games. Enviroment is beatyfull. You have the feeling that you are in Nazi Germany in 1946. It is same as in The New Order where youve had a great Nazi Germany 1960 feeling. Whole sections of levels are greatly, detailed created, with these graphics it looks amazing.

That will be all for my reviews. Im now going to play some more Wolfenstein. That brings me to my verdict for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

9/10

Great prequel to The New Order. But when you finish the story there is nothing much to do, maybe some multiplayer would be nice but still, game what we today get is freaking awesome and I love it.
