Micro-transactions in games

This is huge controversy in gaming. Games are starting to be full of micro-transactions. But it was only in multiplayer or free-to-play games. Now I have feeling that micro-transactions are in almost every game who have some online options. I think that worst micro-transactions system was in Assassin’s Creed Unity. You pay at least 60 Euro/Dollars for game where you
can spend even more money.

Funny micro-transactions in AC Unity
Micro-transactions in AC: Unity are completely broken. If you buy some of that Helix Credits you will completely ruin progress in game. If you buy Helix Credit you can buy anything with them, without unlocking items. For exaple the beginnig of game you can buy 20 000 Helix Credits for 100 Euro/Dollars and then you can buy best armor, best weapons and just play that stupid short story in AC: Unity. Meat of game is playing missions for unlocking stuff, not buying stuff for Helix Credit
That is not how micro-transactions are supposed to work. You should spend extra money in game for getting something that everybody can have but just faster or getting some cosmetic stuff. For example legendary Counter Strike: Global Offensive. You can get this game for nice 10 Euro and you can buy with some extra money (real money, no some shitty game currency) skins for weapons, knifes and keys for chests. That is totally cool. If the core game is great and I’m having fun with it, I will more probably spend some money. Or Planetside 2. This game have some kind of pay-to-win model and bad game currency but I’had so much fun playing it, so I bought some extra stuff. And in other well known online game: War Thunder, you can use Golds for speeding up researching of new planes and tanks or buying premium planes or tanks. And premium planes or tanks are classic free planes just with special skin. For exaple you can get American plane in Japanese colors for some golds.
I just want to say that there are a tons of games where are pretty good micro-transactions. If player have fun with game he has more potential to spend extra money, not like in AC: Unity where micro-transactions are complete garbage, in singleplayer mode. That is why I’m so worried. If micro-trasactions are coming to destroy our singleplayer experience there will be some really bad games in future. I hope that AC: Unity is first and last game who have micro-transactions in singleplayer.
